Shriners Hospital for Children

Vertec Corp. has worked with Shriner's Hospital for over 25 years on a variety of construction management projects.

Most recently completed were renovations to the 7th and 8th floor patient rooms as well as operating areas in the main hospital. The renovations were completed in the Reconstruction Unit located on the seventh floor and the Acute Care Unit on the eighth floor. The work consisted of demolition, drywall, wall coverings, painting, acoustical ceilings, finish carpentry, doors frames and hardware, electro static painting, electrical work, plumbing, and installation of medical equipment. All of this work was performed around occupied spaces.

This was a continuous two month phased construction schedule that required a great deal of coordination with the Hospital. All work was completed on schedule.
